1989

Our organization began as the Enterostomal Therapy Nurses of Hawaii.

2007

Hawaii Affiliate of the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Society, we became incorporated as a non profit organization.

2015

We changed our name to Hawaii Association for Wound Ostomy and Continence care to become an independent non profit organization

Mission Statement

The Hawaii Association for Wound, Ostomy and Continence Care is a professional organization that supports its members by promoting educational, clinical, and research opportunities to advance the practice and guide the delivery of expert health care to individuals with wounds, ostomies, and incontinence.
